Every week when our new music arrives, we listen intensely to each song and give it a Song Rating. This information lets the DJ know what type of language and how suggestive are the lyrics at a glance. From G to XXX our DJs know what version (if any) is appropriate for your event. You can even create a Do Not Play List online.

So what does a DJ do when the students want the #1 song in the country but the administration feels it is inappropriate for the school?
Well....
Other DJs must choose to play it or not.
We didn't like that option so...
we built a sound studio to make our own exclusive versions we call "School Edits".

What is a "School Edit"?    (This is the best part)

A "School Edit" is simply a radio edit that has been remixed to eliminate every swear word and suggestive lyric, thereby cleaning up a song so that it is as appropriate as possible.
The "School Edit" is given a new Song Rating and now we can play the music all the students want AND please the administration!

BEWARE!!!

Once we have been to your school the students will expect to hear the music they like and may convince another DJ that it is OK to play it. "School Edits" are an X-Sight Music exclusive product made at our in-house studio and cannot be purchased anywhere!
